Suede Creek, was started with the idea that quality items could be made in the USA and still be affordable. Located in a small mountain town in southern Colorado, Suede Creek is run by the owners who cut, sew and assemble their products in house, then shipped to your door.
When Lvonne, who had a retail store in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, had trouble filling the needs of her customers with the leather potholders they desired, she got in touch with the supplier of the potholders and promptly bought the company. Ready for a change, she sold her store and she and her husband (Terry) along with her brother (Mike) and sister-in-law (Sandra) started Suede Creek. The demand for leather potholders was out there, experience told them that, but wanting to use up the many scraps that the construction of those potholders generated, drove them to create many other products.
