This handle holder for your skillet and kitchenware is double insulated with two layers of suede. Leather has long been know as one of the best materials for insulation against heat. (Firemen use leather to protect themselves and welders gloves are leather too!) Leather is also hearty enough to take a beating so that you don’t have to, hence the knife sheath.
